Brian almost dies of a heart infection
- 1990-Kevin moves to Orlando
- August 26,1991-Kevin's father dies of Cancer
- January 1993-Howie, AJ and Nick begin to sing together
- March1993-Kevin joins the band to replace 2 members
that didnt work out
- April 7, 1993-Brian flies to Florida, auditions, and the
Backstreet Boys are born
- 1994-BSB sign a deal with Mercury Records and ends up
being dropped. Then they sign with Jive
- 1995-BSB record in Sweden with Denniz PoP, then in
Orlando
- Summer 1995-"We've Got It Goin' On" released in US-
rises to #69
- Fall 1995-Single is a hit in Germany, Canada, and all
over Europe, BSB tour Europe for the first time, Tour with
PJ and Duncan in England.
- January 1996-Voted Smash Hits Best Newcomers of the Year
- Spring 1996-BSB's first Canadian appearance at Place Vertu
Mall in Montreal draws 3,000. BSB make video for "Get Down"
Named Best Newcomer in Britains Red Nose Awards. "Get Down"
released, a hit in Canada and Europe. BSB begin a 35 city
European tour. Make videos for QPG, and I'll Never Break
Your Heart.
- August 1996-BSB play Festival des Montgolsieres in Quebec
to 65,000 people.
- September/October 1996-"Backstreet Boys" released in
Europe, Canada, and Asia. Goes gold or platinum in over
30 countries,
- November 1996_"I'll Never Break Your Heart" released
as a European single.
- December 1996-BSB recieve the Mtv Select Award in Europe
BSB tour Germany, Concert in Frankfurt shown on Premiere
TV, later released as a home video, "Backstreet Boys: Live
in Concert." "Christmas Time"released to fan club.
- January 1997-QPG released. Recieved Smash Hits award
for Best Road Show. BSB tour Canada. Relax for 8 days in
Hawaii.
- February 1997-"Anywhere for you released as a single
in Europe. Return to Orlando to begin recording Backstreets
Back.
- May/June 1997-Fly to Los Angeles to make videos for
"All I Have to Give," "As Long As You Love Me," and "Everybody."
QPG released as a single in the States.
- July 1997-Single enters Billboards Hot 100 at 24 and
will rise to #2. The American version of Backstreet Boys
released and would rise to #4. "Everybody" released in
Canada, Asia, and Europe. Enters the chart in the top ten
in ten countries.
- August 1997-Backstreets Back released everywhere but
America.
- September 18, 1997-BSB play charity all star basketball
game in Berlin, Germany. BSB undertakes first US tour-8
dates only
- October 1997-Entertain at Nickelodeons Big Help. Both
QPG and Backstreet Boys goes platinum in US. European tour.
Date in Spain cancelled when to many people tried to get
into the venue.
- November 1997-Recieve Mtv's Select Award for second year.
- December 1997-Play Madison Square Garden in NY. Begin
Canadian tour. Five dates in Montreal and sell out the sky
dome in Toronto.
- January 1998-Tape a concert for Much Music in Toronto.
The crush of fans forces people to close the streets. Finish
the Canadian tour and begin American tour.
- February 1998-appear on Rosie and Sabrina the Teenage
Witch. Conclude tour on 21st in Orlando
- March 17, 1998-Begin European Tour in Dublin, Ireland.
- March 28, 1998-Record "Viva Unplugged" in Germany
- April 13, 1998-Conclude European Tour in Madrid, Spain
- April/May 1998-Appear at the Magic Kingdom on Grad Night.
Brian undergoes hear surgery.
- June, 1998-a remake of "I'll never Break Your Heart"
released in the States.
- July, 1998-Appear on Mtv's Fanatic and undergoes
